Chron App

Chron is a conceptual mobile application that explores how time is perceived rather than measured. Instead of treating time as a fixed, objective unit, Chron proposes an alternative model—one where time adapts to an individual’s internal state, emotions, and bodily rhythms.

The project investigates the idea of an internal clock: how factors such as heart rate, body temperature, routine, attention, and emotional state can make time feel faster or slower.

By connecting to wearable technology and iOS touch-based inputs, Chron visualizes time as a relative experience that shifts moment by moment. At the core of the interaction is a simple gesture, touching and holding the screen to “adjust” time based on how it feels rather than what it is. Data collected from biometric signals informs a personalized time flow, which users can reflect on through analytical views and visual patterns.

Behind the Design

Chron explores time as a felt experience rather than a fixed measurement. Inspired by how emotion, attention, and physical state affect perception, the project reimagines the clock as something personal and adaptive. Through minimal interaction and speculative use of biometric data, Chron invites users to reflect on how they experience time—rather than how they manage it.
